Twisters Touch Down in Ontario

A severe weather system originating in Michigan led to tornado warnings in parts of southwestern Ontario on Wednesday night, August 24. An F-1 tornado was reported to have touched down in an area between Cambridge and Burlington and another one in Nairn. Brilliant lightning, heavy rainsand even hail were witnessed throughout the Greater Toronto area and southern Ontario.

Jessica Stewart of Brantford, Ontario shared this picture with the Messenger and says, “When I woke up this morning, the sun was shining bright and the birds were singing and I thought to myself, ‘was last night a bad dream?’ I went to the grocery store after I woke up, and I was telling everyone at the store that Jesus is coming!”
