On Friday, November 23, 2012, Avalon Adventist Jr. Academy students from grades two to ten, delivered over 500 grocery bags to be filled by residents of Port Hardy, British Columbia, as donations to the Harvest Food Bank.
The students then retrieved the bags full of non-perishable food on November 30.
There was an excellent retrieval rate and many bags of food were delivered in time for Christmas hampers.
