A New General Vice President

On September 25, 2011, delegates to the 17th Regular Meeting of the Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada voted to appoint Dennis Marshall as the General Vice President and Director of Education for the SDACC. This change of title recognizes Dr. Marshall’s important role to speak on behalf of the SDACC and to advance the work of education across Canada.

Dr. Marshall brings a wealth of experience to this office, having served as teacher, administrator, pastor, and superintendent of education. He holds Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Education and an MBA, and has served as Director of Education for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada for the past six years. Dennis is married to Juanita and they have two grown children and two grandchildren. He is committed to advancing the cause of Christ through Adventist Christian education.
